Our caregivers are either qualified nurse assistants, nursing aids, certified caregivers or candidates who have the right attitude and temperament to care for an elderly.
We will be able to advise you on which qualification is a best match after an initial assessment of your requirements.
For placement of local nurses, it can take between 3 to 10 working days, depending on the situation. It is best to contact us a few weeks in advance for respite care.
We highly advise our clients to make their selection based on a candidate’s skills and experience rather than their nationality.
You can let us know if you have a specific preference in language, such as Bahasa or Tamil, so we can find you the best match.
We assess their knowledge, technical skills, service orientation, and motivation during our interview process.
We can apply for an exception on your behalf to provide you with a male caregiver or nurse, but you can expect a 5 to 6 weeks waiting period to obtain approval from MOM.
“It is an offence to practise nursing/midwifery without a valid practising certificate” [ Nurses and Midwives Act (Chapter 209) Section 26 (1) ]. “Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.”
The same penalty applies to the employer of the person.
In the event that the problem persists or escalates, we will assist in the replacement of the caregiver or nurse and our usual replacement terms and conditions may apply.
